Came in for dinner with my sister and brother in law, had a lovely friendly greeting and got along with the waitress like an old friend. Starters took a few minuets to arrive and didn't have to wait much longer for our mains. Food hit the spot and had an amazing experience and will definetly be going back!
I recently visited this restaurant with my partner, and overall, we had a great dining experience. The calamari was slightly overcooked, but everything else was delicious. Our waitress, who I believe was named Isabella, was very cheerful and friendly. She struck the perfect balance with her conversation at the table, always happy to assist us and attentive to all the diners in her section.
The food was enjoyable, and they offered a separate vegan menu with two or three starter and main course options, as well as some dessert choices. The bruschetta, in particular, was beautifully presented. The decor was intriguing and created a cozy atmosphere. My only concern was the limited staff; there were at least 12 tables spread across two floors, one of which was completely empty. I suspected there were only two people in the kitchen. While we didn't have to wait long for our meals, settling the bill took quite a while. In the end, I had to get up and find someone to assist me. It was a weeknight, so I assume it was quieter than on weekends, but they clearly need an additional staff member.
The service was really friendly, and the staff were quite apologetic about being understaffed, but I didn’t find the waiting times to be too bad, and they all acted very professionally. The food was quite good, but it would be nice to have some dressing or a side salad with the calzone. I would definitely come back, as it makes a great option before a trip to the cinema. One downside, though, is that the wooden "plank" plates they used were quite worn and scratched, which likely makes them difficult to clean.
