Golden Lake Restaurant - Brampton

The food at this restaurant tastes better than Mandarin, I couldn't believe it. Plus, the prices are much cheaper. The only drawback is that there is no dine-in area.

We ordered takeout from this restaurant and were very disappointed with the food. The stir-fried Chinese vegetables were tasteless, as if they were cooked in water. The Moo Goo Gai Pan dish had the same bland vegetables and lacked flavor. The chicken hot and sour soup was edible, but lacked a contrast between the hot and sour elements. The fried egg noodles were oversalted and had a poor texture. We were hoping for better Chinese restaurants in Brampton and would be willing to pay more for quality.

My friends family has been ordering from Golden Lake for many years now and swear by it. I was pleasantly surprised when trying it, because it was way better then The Mandarin! I liked that their chicken balls didn't have too much bread, and their lemon chicken is so good. Love Golden Lake!

Honey garlic ribs and BBQ ribs over cooked and dried right out, can hardly eat them. Mushroom egg Foo is mush not cooked enough. Rice was ok. Can tones chow mein not great either. First and last time for us
