We happened to be there rather early for dinner, around 6 p.m. It is customary for an Indian, to have a late dinner, which was, as we called it, since when we were ready to leave people began pouring in. The cutlery and crockery are that of a fine dining restaurant. The food meets a higher standard. Prices are very affordable, and the portions are filling. The aroma of the chicken tikka was out of this world and tasted better than mom’s cooking. Presentation of the mixed platter was very impressive, and grilled, to perfection, being juicy and succulent. All the tandoor dishes that we had, and there are several to choose from, were juicy and the flavor reminded me of eating in India, at gourmet restaurants. The tandoor naans were the best I've tasted so far. The food meets a higher standard. Prices are very affordable, and the portions are filling. You will not be disappointed.
Overall I would give 4.5/5 ratings to this restaurant. First there are quite some unique dishes like 'Shikari Tikka' 'Lazeez Chaap Masala' etc. which I've not seen or tried anywhere in GTA. Secondly the more common dishes that they offer are totally different then how it would taste at other Indian restaurants. I've had their food twice only but I think I am getting a hook of it. So whenever you want traditional Indian food but with a unique soulful twist, this is the place to visit. Additionally the owner came to our table personally and asked if the food was good..! we were impressed by him and the service by his staff..!
Had ordered chicken Tika masala, rice. Aloo Parantha amd masala tea.Chicken Tika masala was not spicy. .Rice had no salt and was little bit oilyAloo parantha was burnt so had to send it back.Chai masala was very nice but very small cup.

Dropped into this place by chance for Sunday lunch with my 10 year old niece and nephew for their first Indian food experience as we happened to be in Brampton. My nephew who was going to bet me "a million dollars" that he wouldn't like it - LOVED IT! He completely devoured the tandoori chicken which came to the table sizzling on a hot skillet. It was fantastic, very flavourful and moist. Naan was hot and good. Butter chicken was spicier than most, but very good as well. We really enjoyed our meal. The chef came over to see how we were doing before we ate and at the end again to which my nephew said that he is "the best chef in the world". So, there you go! Really great food, nice, clean atmosphere, and attentive staff. A must visit! They have a $9.99 all you can eat lunch where you order from a menu with a large variety of items. Sounds like a good idea for a future visit with adults!
