Feedback gevenOverall our experience at Clarion Hotel was good. The rooms were well kept, clean, and there are various amenities in the hotel. The signs on the second floor indicating ice machine station made no sense. We wandered the whole floor, and found no ice maker. There was however an ice maker one the first floor in the laundry room? I feel this could be directed better. Having rooms facing the pool isn't the greatest when you get woken up to children playing in the pool at 9am every morning. Also having the light switch for the bathroom outside of the bathroom is definitely odd.
Didn't stay over. We ate in Echo restaurant. I had an excellent noodle bowl. Others enjoyed the Manitoba pickerel. I would recommend dining here. Excellent, experienced waiter.
Stayed on the 3rd floor room 311, bathroom has 3 doors.... (one of which hits the toilet) there were some marks on the walls from what looked like drinks, but everything overall was decent food in the lounge was great and very friendly staff, pool was very busy but we still had fun, even won a bit of money at the vlts!
My fiancee and I were getting married and had alot of guests coming from out of town so we blocked off a bunch of rooms for them to reserve. We were also told if we had 10 rooms reserved we would get 1 night in the king suite comped. Due to the time of our ceremony everyone had to book 2 nights as checking in early was not an option according to the hotel staff. My brother and his family were the first to check in to their room. As soon as they walked in they gagged as it smelled like someone had been smoking in there for years. They then switched rooms, well the second room smelled even worse. He then paid more to be upgraded to a room in the newer portion of the hotel. My future wife had stayed the night in the king suite the evening prior with a few of the bridesmaids. Before leaving the hotel in the morning she went down to the front desk and asked them to please refreshen our room and give us more towels. Well when we arrived after our wedding they had not been in there to clean and we had zero towels. When we went to check out the front desk clerk asked how our stay was and I told her it was terrible and it didn't even seem to phase her, she really didn't care and said well you stayed In the room the night before, that's why they didn't clean it. They then charged us for both nights in the hotel even though we had our guests pay for 10 hotel rooms for 2 nights each. Her excuse was that 1 of the rooms booked wasn't booked in the allotted time they give guests to book the rooms. For nearly $500 for a two night stay, I expect better. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone .Edit- it's been over a week now and there has been no steps towards a resolution to our horrible stay at your hotel. Your apologies mean absolutely nothing when you are clearly not willing to make this situation right. Just waiting and hoping someone forgets about how their terrible there stay was is no way to run a business.
The toilet had a crack in it n was running all the time. Was scared to sit on it. Pool area was overlooking from our room n was very noisy really late. And they kept the bright lights on all night. Would I go back.
