Feedback gevenI have never had a problem with the quality or the food from here, it is always fantastic and very well done. However, today I ordered take out from them to get delivered to my home. When the sushi arrived I was greeted by the fact that over half of it was missing in an $84 order, after noticing the mistake I phoned in and tried to get the mistake corrected. To my surprise, when I called in I was accused of lying about my order, and told that it was triple checked by 3 different people before it left and there is no way that it could be wrong, because of course the Customer is always wrong at Tokyo Zone. After a heated and unprofessional argument instigated by the OWNER OF TOKYO ZONE, he told me that there is no way he could have made a mistake, and that I was the one lying and trying to manipulate free items out of him. After he was finished yelling through the phone at me all the items that I was reading off the receipt too, he told me there is nothing more he would like to talk to me about, and went silent on the phone, would not answer anymore questions, and was generally very disrespectful considering I 'm the one who got scammed out of $40 of food. No credit was offered, no solution to the missing sushi was offered, and I was told I was wrong once again before I hung up on the conversation that was clearly going no where. Overall: -Tokyo Zone told me I was lying because my order had been triple checked, and they don 't make mistakes at Tokyo Zone. -I did not receive any of the money back from my missing items. -If you enjoy getting told you 're a liar when you are the one being wronged I would highly recommend this Restaurant.
Daughter went there for supper, she went to pay and was told it was $50 even, She asked the cashier for a receipt and low and behold gave himself a $6 tip. With the complete lack of service she would not have tipped at all.
Never had an allergic reaction to anything before, but my face is red and my throat is tight, I had to take a Benadryl. Our order was $55, very small portions and very sodium heavy. Won’t return
Any day in the past I would have given Tokyo Zone 5 stars (my average order is usually somewhere around $75-$110) but today I need to let them know...While the food was prepared well, the condiments make up 40% of the enjoyment of the dish!....if you're going to hire a person to take orders on the phone then you need to make absolutely sure that they understand English..not just SPEAK English but UNDERSTAND English. It would prevent people like me who make an over $160 order only to find half the order not correct...NO Wasabi Mayo for Tempura Scallops and 2 little dashes of Wasabi with about 6 strips of ginger...WTF! I'd suggest fixing this because I'm sure you don't want to lose me to Sushi Hut which has been making some great changes and listening to customer reviews.
Tiniest sushi rolls I've ever seen and I found a piece of fish skin in one of my rolls. Also bad service and expensive, do not go here!
