We both enjoyed it back in the day when we were in Branson more often and tonight definitely was even better than we remember it being. We shared the seafood bread and a cup of clam chowder for our starter and they were both very good! I had the blackened redfish with etouffee on top and Sugarbritches had the broiled snapper special. Both were cooked perfectly and we would definitely both do the same dishes again. To finish Butterwings chose the crème brulee and I opted for the key lime pie. Her crème brulee was HUGE! It was triple what you normally get in any good restaurant... sorry no pictures but we just simply forgot. Now, the part that really made our meal special was our waiter Attila. He was more than helpful in making suggestions from the menu but we actually got to chat with him about where he grew up in Hungary. We talked about him on the way home, such a nice, pleasant and friendly kid! If you want to enjoy the wait staff at Laundry 's in Branson, ask for Attila to serve you. His attention to keeping our drinks full and letting us know about anything Landry 's was way above and beyond anything we have come to expect from any waiter or waitress. Kudo 's to the manager that made that hiring decision! Attila is a keeper! We 'll be back soon. Especially because I owe him an apology and more of a tip! I miscalculated and didn 't figure 25% correctly. Sorry Attila... I will see you again with the balance of what should have been a proper tip for the service you gave us.
Dear Seniors, We stopped at Landry's Seafood tonight just after checking in to our hotel. We loved Rebecca our server, I had Trout blackened and I added a topping of Shrimp, Crawfish and Crab, with a beautiful white sauce to pull it all together. Veggies were a compliment to the meal. Happy Trails, I hope to see you along our travels, Chris and Sharon
Made reservations for 7:30 not knowing how busy they would be on a Saturday night before Christmas. They had us in the door within minutes of our reservation time. That is 1 of the stars here. The other star is the MaiTai I was served. Beyond that it was not a good experience. Ordered stuffed jalapeño for appetizer. They were not very warm. Gooey in the middle and HOT!! After asking to silverware twice I was able to separate the filling from the jalapeno and eat the filling. Upon inspection they literally had split the jalapeno and stuffed it. Did not remove any of the seeds or insides. Pure laziness!! The waitress had an attitude the entire time we were there. Barely checked on us and did was not very helpful. Husband ordered the clam chowder and said it was fine. Would be nice if it came with garlic bread instead of crackers. I had the salmon. As with most restaurants it was over cooked. I thought it would be okay since we were at a seafood place but I was wrong. For the price I will go elsewhere in Branson.
My husband and I had a late lunch there today. Service was very slow. Waited about 10 minutes to even order a drink, only 2 others tables in the large empty dining room. We both wanted oysters for an appetizer, but they were out. We ordered a cup of seafood gumbo, Clam chowder, jalapeno poppers and a crab cake to share. The gumbo was horrid there was no flavor just broth and shrimp thrown in. Chowder was more like a bisque. The flavor wasn't bad. Poppers weren't bad neither was the crab cake. I'm not sure how much crab was actually in the cake but there was a nice bunch on top. My husband wanted the seafood pasta and they didn't have it, he ended up ordering a burger. He ordered it medium rare and it came out well. I had the blackened red fish with etouffee with dirty rice and broccoli. Everything was cold and bland. The broccoli was completely under cooked. Needless to say I will never be back and do not recommend it. I'm addition, as we were sitting there the hostess was brushing her hair at the hostess stand.
Thief in their team. I wish I was rating the food and experience. Went wit my fiancé on 2 April and went all out... appetizer, seafood, wine, etc. Fiancé paid with a CC that seemed to be gone awhile to process. Two days later $1,600 was attempted to be used on her card elsewhere. Because Landry's was the ONLY place the card was EVER used an investigation ensued. Since they did not try to pick up their purchase, investigation must be over.? Called to notify the restaurant and spoke with the Executive Chef who said the GM would call back the next day. Almost two weeks later, still no call. Guess they don't care if their crew has a thief or thieves! STAY AWAY! And YES, we still remember our servers name! She's worked there 15 years!
