Whether it's price or selection, I'm regularly on the lookout for new food spots that are inexpensive for lunch. On my way up Mt Branson last week, I saw this place. Looked at the menu, and decided to stop in today.Couple things the young lady behind the counter was fast and polite with my food. Her daughter was a gem.But honestly, I haven't eaten started on the pupusa I bought; I've only had a bite of the cabbage/coleslaw or whatever it is, and that is absolutely PHENOMENAL. I like cabbage, but I tend not to like the majority of coleslaw style dishes especially if they are mayo based sweet. This one is amazing. I will absolutely be back.
The service is excellent. Authentic food. And the staff is very friendly and patient. The prices are moderate. I recommend it 100%.
The food was a bit salty. I was wondering where we would sit and eat. This was way beyond where the food was prepared and served. There's much room for improvement.
I'd give it 10 stars if I could! Very good food and service. I've had the tacos, I've had the quesadilla and they are so good but today I tried a torta. OMG. Amazing. I'm from Denver and nowhere in the Branson/ Springfield area has impressed me with Mexican food but this place, this place is wonderful and people need to try it out. Don't be thrown off by it being inside a gas station. Thank you Taqueria La Diferencia for restoring my faith here I'm the Midwest for authentic Mexican flavor. I hope your business thrives and I am a customer of yours forever!
The very BEST Mexican food in the Branson area.only bad thing I can say is they close at 4:30 pm, way too soon. But as good as it is, we go early.
