2 Rivers Restaurant - Brant

Great patio on the river. Nice breakfast Makes you feel like family. Also has live music on Friday and Saturday nights

Menu very limited/staff not personable at all do not know what a smile is. We only had three in our party, and I have never been to a restaurant in my life where all of the patrons were not asked what they wanted for a drink. My daughter was over looked and when the waitress came back to give my husband I our drinks she(the very impersonable owner) still DID not as my daughter what she would like. The waitress then sat down with the only other patrons in the restaurant(clearly her friends which were seated right beside us) proceeded to have a conversation about us which we could hear. We were never asked about refills, and we paid $17.00 for a caesar salad. We will not be back. Store owners like this give Paris people a bad name.

The live music, cuisine and service are really awesome. Ramona and staff are very personable. The river view is spectacular.

This was the worst service I have ever had anywhere. We waited 15 minutes before anyone even came to our table. We had been there 30 minutes before ordering our apps… we were finished the apps before anyone even asked for our dinner orders. By the time our food came we had been there over an hour. The woman doing the bulk of the serving never came to our table once to ask if we wanted more drinks. When the man who had been working inside came to clear dishes, we asked for more water (we had also bought drinks). He gave us a cranky look, poured my glass half full asked if I wanted more. The burger was pretty good, but the pizza, cabbage rolls, and perogies were terrible. When the bill finally came the server didn’t even acknowledge us, just dropped the machine on the table stepped back. Once I’d paid she turned left without saying a word. I’ve never been in a restaurant where the staff seemed so resentful of their customers. Inattentive, and miserable. Their “dinner menu” was also obscenely overpriced.

Excellent service and great food make an awesome combination. Had lunch and ordered the salmon salad and cold plate. I would recommend either for a light lunch on a hot day.
