Jacks Old South Bbq - Braselton

Utter trash. I suspect they know it, they haven 't even updated the name of their business on Yelp. Ordered the 7 piece wing combo, got 6 wings. Ordered 2 bread puddings. They gave me one but apparently ran out after I ordered and didn 't feel the need to correct. Upon calling they said they gave me what was left which was more than 2 orders . Might make sense if you didn 't short everything else on the order. Left off the sauce. Won 't be back.

My wife and I have eaten here several times for lunch and have also used their catering service. The pork barbecue platter with 2 sides is a big portion and is consistently good. They offer several sauce combinations. Krinkle cut fries. The place is always spotless. Very clean and fresh. Service is good. If you looking for some good down home barbecue without the hype this might just be the place for you!

Sadly this is not jacks old south it's now ton Henry's so someone should change the name cause a lot has changed Customer service was not lacking but not at today the way , much like the food the personalities had no flavor Max n cheese feels box made , along the line of Kraft Fries were fries had some season on them but it's sad when that's the stand out . Chicken came out sauced and sliced , flavor was just sauce and I feel it's not a whole chicken cause it came out sliced not chopped Pork was room temp and had zero flavor , no bark no nothing , and was slightly over cooked probably from sitting in a heating pan I think I have driven by a lot when it was jacks and never got to try it but I would honestly say you will find better at Sonny's or any gas station with a smoker in the parking lot on a Saturday. This place did not do it at all

Now Tom Henry 's. The owner was very nice...A 10. She made fresh sweet tea for me...I 'll give it an 8. French Fries...6. Slaw...6. The pulled pork was moist and a nice portion was served. I cannot figure out how, if you are smoking your Butts in a wood-fired smoker, the meat can end up with absolutely ZERO flavor. It 's a mystery to me. If you aren 't smoking your meats on a wood-fired smoker find another business to be in. I would be generous by giving the pork a...3. They were so nice, but I came for 'Que...!

This is a small barbecue place. 5 booths and 5 tables. The bbq is good. Straightforward menu and sides are also prepared well. We got carry out. Arrived and ordered. Out the door in 10 minutes
