Great food, slow service, but excellent food and lots.
I guess its the only place to eat authentic Chinese under budget. And the served food is more than enough for two people. And almost all the food is in the same range. It's not a fancy restaurant usually crowded at lunchtime and suitable for university, and college get together. Wheelchair accessible.

From the perspective of a postdoctoral researcher working at University of Brasilia nearby, this restaurant is a solid 3.5-4 out of 5 stars all things considered. It is conveniently located close to UnB campus, the food is a reasonable mix of traditional Chinese and what is sort of Brazilian food thrown on the menu (e.g. macarro, Brazilian macaroni pasta! , the food was overall tasty, and the service is pretty good. My favorite thing about this restaurant was the egg rolls believe it or not--they were good, better than several of the American Chinese restaurants I 've tried in Utah and Alabama. The sweet and sour chicken was basically 100% on the sweet side of things but very good. I also enjoyed the Xadrez Chicken. I had Coke here and it was fine, while the others in our lunch party all had local sucos (fruit juices and they all said that these were very good. Overall, a very positive experience. Would love to eat here again--soon, I 'm getting hungry writing this!!! To add a little criticism here (noting I wrote all positive stuff basically , the only issues you might potentially have here at Careca are that if they get really busy the waiters will probably do a poor job of serving you. I mean, you 'll likely get poor attention in this case; and I say this because when we went we got B- to C- quality attention and the place was only half full. Moreover, it seems this is the kind of place that might run out of some items on a very busy night (never happened to us, I 'm just saying... . Cheers, ~J
