6 - Brattleboro

Not motel 6 anymore travelodge cops have been here 3 times in a few hours. The TV is useless the internet is so bad it is constantly frozen up. The room is clean and the bed is new very firm. But the sheets are yellow and stained and the cheap blanket has burn holes. I don't ask for much. Clean comfortable and a hot shower. I am not comfortable it doesn't feel clean although it is cleaned. And im using my data to watch Netflix on my tablet because there is no real TV it's impossible to watch. It's frozen more than not.

This is the old Motel 6 and the rooms look like the same old Motel 6 rooms that are only slightly nice than a jail cell but the price was right so I booked a night there on Orbitz. I arrived at Travelodge by Wyndham Brattleboro VT at 7:30 PM on Sat. 7-30-22 and was told that housekeeping hadn't cleaned a room for me yet and that they wouldn't have one done by 9:00 PM!!! I asked the clerk if I would be charged if I decided to stay somewhere else and she said no I would not be charged but now I see that I was charged. Still trying to clear this up with Orbitz. It seems like the hotel was trying to get their guests with cheap reservations (like me) to find accommodations elsewhere so that they could resell the rooms at a higher rate. I would not trust this hotel with a reservation again.

If I could give zero stars I would! My boyfriend and I became homeless last week and we came to this hotel which is now called the Travelodge by Wyndham in Brattleboro. The staff has been horrible to us. We were forced to switch rooms all the way upstairs because the lock was broken on our door and they knew about it and never told us and still put us in that room. I had to bring my boyfriend to the ER for being sick and we get back at 3 am and couldn't get in! The staff that was on duty knew absolutely nothing!! We get to our new room and the sink was clogged as well as our cable was broken it took them over 10 hours to actually get fixed! The staff had a lot of attitude and was very rude to us and I am thankful to never come back here again!! If you want a pleasant experience DO NOT COME HERE!!!

I think I reserved the room for $59 a night with tax I think it came out to over $70. Although the woman behind the counter seemed nice, it was very shady. There was a glass window for you to talk through. I was surprised when she asked us if we wanted a smoking or non smoking room, because i choose non smoking in my reservation. She than made a comment like looks like you are getting the last one, as if she was doing me a favor. You drive up to your room, and it was very clean, thank goodness. No carpeting and everything was basic. Crazy that you had to pay for wifi. We opted not to. My internet wouldn't even work it was very strange. We had a horrible sleep because the room we got had this loud banging pipe noise, that went on and on through out the night. When we checked out and they asked how everything was, we said, um we basically couldn't sleep because there was a loud noise that kept waking us. It winds up the ice maker upstairs was never insulated and caused the noise. Ugh. Try not to get that room!!

Without a doubt this was the worst place we have ever committed to stay through Priceline.com. The room was not clean. Upon entering the room, it smelled of disinfected spray. The inside of doors were filthy... entry and bathroom. The bathroom smelled of cigarette smoke, even though it was supposed to be NO SMOKING . It appeared that the occupants in the neighboring room was a family that had been living there. They were constantly smoking just outside their door. In addition, the TP holder was falling off the wall, the shower surround had a patched hole, there was no coffee maker, no hair dryer, poor internet and TV. It was so late, we were tired and we had already paid for the room, we stayed!! Surprisingly, we slept well... but couldn 't wait to get out of there. We hope we didn 't catch anything!
