Block House Brunswick - Braunschweig

During a walk through brownish we noticed the block house restaurant as a possible place for our evening meal and we were not disappointed when we entered the lively, inviting ambiente. the waiter and waiter had to work very hard as the place was full...of 18 clocks both inside and outside and it was great to observe all activities and speed with which one of the waiters filled the salat bowls. we ordered a beer and icey water and then chose two nets from the extensive menu, namely a mr. rumpsteak dish with 250g calf and a fitness panel of crispy vegetables with juicy bark and spicy green pfeffer sauce. we both enjoyed the two dishes and unfortunately refused a sweet one, as we had little space for one. this is a chain of bright and breezy steakhouse style restaurants and if they are in the mood for a steak, they have chosen the right place.

On the first day I ate a cheeseburger and an salad (the three classics) on the other day; I liked them both, but in the general portions are very small and overpriced. friendly staff, English menus.

I ate a T-bone steak yesterday. I ask for medium, and it was medium-well. I can live with that. The beer was fine (classic weizen). The salad was exactly like a soup (full of oil NOT eatable.. The t-bone steak all in all was...good, but in my opinion too expensive, and no, not the best. Too much fat in it.. and not as delicious as I tasted in other places.

This was a favorite of mine while in Braunschweig! The salad is amazing as is the rest of the food! I have never had a bad meal here. Mrs. Rumpsteak with salad, bread and baked potato is super delicious! You can't go wrong. Their wine...list is yummy and affordable as well.

It's not cheap, but steaks we have ordered were excellent, same as onion soup, almost like in Paris. Waiters were very nice. I totally recommend this place.
