Terrible service , below avg, food toilets disgusting stick to floor .tables not cleared.would not go back for free.long wait for food .which was not worth waiting for

Great pub ! My family and I had breakfast after a wonderful night in the Chase ! We went back for breakfast I had the hangover Mac it was very special! Kids and wife loved the cooked breakfast too ! Looking forward to going back!

My Husband I came over to the Chase for a very rare night out on our own, the food was excellent, as was the service, very very reasonably priced, will def be coming again. Only downside was it was rather cold inside which hit us as soon as we took our coats off not near any open doors toilets were not very clean at all rather smelly, which def needs attention as for a Pub Restaurant that size they should be scrupulously clean and smelling nice.

Fantastic Meals on our recent visit. Very quick service. Didn't have to wait too long for the food. What more can you ask. Great work and I can definately recommend this place.

We went to a Hungry Horse in Southend last week, so while in Thetford, we thought we'd try The Chase. As expected, the portions were good, although noticeably smaller than those in Southend. The problem we had was having to wait 50 minutes after starters before the main course came out. We were starting to wonder if we had been forgotten, although that would not have made sense as the pub was only half full. Most of the food was quite good, but my daughters Salmon was Rock hard and over cooked and her corn cob was completely cold. To be fair, the Manager did change it after I complained, but this left my Daughter eating on her own as we had all finished by the time the replacement came out. All in all a disappointing Birthday Lunch for my 2 daughters, I would think twice before returning...
