We were here as our bed and breakfast was full of up it is a pub with rooms pleasant eating well, but portion a little on the small side for the price comfortable betten wifi meet and miss breakfast exceptional and they came early to. do it so that extra points too.

We came here as it was dog friendly and as we were staying at the Forest Holidays cabin wanted something nearby. Typical pub fair, large portions but an endless wait for the food. No one to take your order you have to go to the...bar for that. A nice friendly landlady who was welcoming.

Just had Sunday lunch. 2 adults and 2 kids. Was stunning. There was a full plate to start with and all of us are it all. Was like a really lovely home cooked roast and the brownie dessert blew my mind!! The chef, Emma, was...lovely and so accommodating. The bar/waiting staff, Brad and Jenna, were kind and helpful. The owner, Graham, was so cheerful and full of smiles. Just all round fantastic customer service and food. And for around £12 for an adult for two courses, an absolute bargain. Thank you, we'll be returning

New owners and new chef the place has been given a new lease of life. Nice varied menu, food fresh,hot and well cooked. Friendly welcome and comfortable clean surroundings. Will return.
