Hermes - Bremen

Very delicious food! Their mushroom sauce is mouthwatering and the service provided was unprecedented, the waitress who took care of us was very patient and understanding, we needed translation quiet often as they only had a Deutsch menu

I was in HERMES restaurant twice . For the first time I thought that i was there by mistake coz in the first view it looks like a normal restaurant , but , when I entered I sow a very beautiful place. I was amazed by the decoration of it , and I was amazed by the service and the delicious food. I found myself in a very peaceful and wonderful place and hearing very good music. In my opinion that is a very rare thing and you can spend your life looking for one and it wouldn't be a wasted life!

On a rainy Sunday night in September me and my hub were looking for a place to eat. Found the address randomly from a hotelbook and had a nice walk. The outside of the restaurant didn't promise much but as we stepped in we saw that the interior had been decorated beautifully in rustic Greek style with fishnets, lanterns etc. Traditional Greek music played quietly in the background. Delicious food, Saganaki to die for, generous portions and the busy but friendly staff was the highlight of my holiday foodvise. Anyone looking their way from downtown: take the bus 24 to the direction of Neue-Vahr-Nord, it takes you there in 15 min. My hub had his first Greek meal that day (apart from my poor excuses of attempted home made stifado) and his first comment was "do we have Greek restaurants back home?"

I had the lamb skewers. Lamb is not exactly my favorite, but decided to try it anyway. I'm glad I did best lamb I've had in my life! Friendly..
