The restaurant has nice staff dressed in lederhosen and dirndels. Nice outsede garden with a view over the river. We were served excellent schnitzels with various vegetables all for reasonable prices. Free parking, and you can pay electronically.
Not bad but quite heavy meals. Nice environment and quick service but meat is not always at level especially for the difficulty to digest. Next time something lighter...
Having walked several km from Bremen town centre, we settled at the Paulaner for a bite to eat and a decent beer. An hour and a half later, we left nice and relaxed and fully satisfied. Admittedly the weather was great, and being on the banks of the Weser, there was a nice atmosphere. Service and food were good too a nice meat and cheese platter at €11 each, that was enough for four people despite being advertised just for two! Great mix of meats as well as pickled veg and cheese. Other people's salads and mains looked lovely. And though the place was busy, being that bit out of town meant there wasn't a queue for a table. Recommended!
Zeche: 43,00 € in general: bremer likes Bavarian. in the castle of the easterdeich there is another simulation of a Bavarian house in bremen with the Paulaner`s in the castle since October 2013. it is not a pacht object of the paulan brewery, but the brewing manual is clear. who remembers the castle as a youth-free home must acknowledge that the operators have taken a lot of money into the hand to implement their host-house concept together with the consulting department of the brewery. which is worth seeing, even if something has been covered for my taste (see the environment, but only the location of the beer garden with views of the weser and the parking directly at the house make the location very attractive and surely a slaughter alternative. because according to my experience there is no much better alternative Bavarian cuisine in the crèche (paulaner’s at the slaughter, hofbräuhaus, edelweiss, selma, they can also go to the paulaner’s in the burg, if it should be Bavarian and they have no too high expectations. as usual for a house of this size (and necessary, we found many guests on the later Tuesday afternoon at 17 o'clock. in the large room (designated as blur) and in the parallel running winter garden several also larger groups and couples. We were here at a family party. The room was well maintained and the hygiene regulations were observed. The appetizer was unfortunately not vegetarian, but well looked. As the main course I had the vegetarian burger. Unfortunately, the pommes were cold, so they went back completely. They were really not necessary for a burger with Patty and Rösti. The dessert plate was super delicious. Especially the Kaiserschmarrn and the warm chocolate cake with liquid core. The service was super nice and attentive. The toilets are definitely cleaner.
