American Heroes Smokehouse - Brentwood

I tried this place in the past with a friend and have been obsessed ever since. I love the fantastic atmosphere and delicious dishes and drinks. Very recommended.

Really good stuff! The Texas brisket fell apart, was juicy and a ton of bark. The sides were great and the Carolina sauces were on the spot! Even bought a lb of burned ends to snack later. Definitely worth the stop.

Not worth the hassle: The food tastes great but this business cannot get their act together. Every time I order, they're out of something, oh by the way, I order dinner at 4 PM, and yet you're sold out of something every time without fail. My main gripe is with take-out. Don't tell me the order will be ready in 10-minutes only to find out you haven't packed anything before I get there after a 40-minute allowance. I honestly don't order take-out to watch you pack it. I want to pay and go...why make me wait 20 minutes every visit? Do you not understand what take-out means? Are you selling out during the time it takes for me to drive there? Learn how to take care of your customers because you've lost me from your careless practices. Oh...and why is the smoker broken often?
