The Sekwa was not seasoned by itself, but they contain a bit of chili paste and holy stools, if not the dish made so much better for my taste buds. Also the Mango Lassi drink....you have to try. Outstanding customer service and will be a regular customer!
Very good and filling. If you ask for Spicy, it's really hot. Portions were big enough that I couldn't complete my meal, and the food and tea were both so hot that I had to blow on it to eat it. The staff have often checked for tables and were very polite, although I was a diner for the first time and could eat alone. It is a small room, but does not feel cramped, and there were cartoons that played softly behind me for children. I will definitely come back.
This place is amazing. I finally had the chance to order the delivery by GrubHub, and everything was so neatly packed absolutely no leak. I have Chili Momos and Samosa chaat, both quite large portions and both delicious. The Chili Momos were mostly pure magic. The preparation includes peppers, onions, tomatoes and spicy chili sauce, with the right heat for this endorphine brush. The momos themselves are handmade dumplings. I'm a declining mega fan and that's one of the best I've ever had. The Samosa Chaat was also great. It had another taste of what I used from Pittsburgh Indian restaurants, but I loved it. The addition of crispy noodles (sev, I think) above is textural genius. They also have chicken nuggets for children, which is helpful when you have sensory sensitive eaters. They're chicken bugs. You know. I'll be 100% back at Himali Kitchen as often as I can manage it.
One of the most beautiful Nepalese restaurants here in Pittsburgh. The food is really delicious, excellent service, friendly environment. One of my “all time” favorite restaurant, Seine Must-try restaurant here in Pittsburgh.
