Little Miner Taco - Brentwood

The best birria tacos in town, with amazing customer service! I appreciate how they notify customers when their order is ready.

I recently discovered a hidden gem called Little Miner Taco on Rhode Island Avenue. It's a small restaurant with limited parking, but the delicious aroma of their dishes drew me in. During my visit, I tried a grilled chicken street taco, chicken tinga empanadas, and rice and beans. Although some of my sauces were missing, I used it as an excuse to go back for another taco. I have to admit, I devoured the tacos quickly - they were the best I've ever had. I now find myself frequenting Little Miner Taco weekly, as the food is just that good. I'm not usually a foodie, so I won't settle for chain tacos anymore. Little Miner Taco has earned a spot in my top 10 favorite restaurants, and I highly recommend giving them a try. The location I visited is at 4308 Rhode Island Avenue in Brentwood, MD.

This restaurant is situated in the former location of Las Margaritas Mexican Restaurant. We chose to sit outside on wooden benches and tables in the parking lot. The seating is minimal, as most of the business revolves around take-out orders. The food is top-notch, offering familiar dishes with a creative twist. There is a lack of ambiance and formal service, as everything is set up for take-out orders. Prices may seem a bit high for a take-out place. It is recommended to order ahead if you live nearby and enjoy the food at home.

Beware !Came tonight service was trash !! And so was the tacos! I don’t eat meat and they placed my tacos in container with husbands any kind of way . I informed them of this and they spoke in Spanish to one another as if I didn’t understand them ! I will not be giving them my money ever again.Get your staff together at night ! We didn’t even eat out food just threw it away , rather had Taco Bell instead !Parking is terrible so many food trucks parked all around in the way ! Customers barely have space to park . I watched so many ppl throw their food away tonight instead of eating ! SmhSave your money !!!!

I used to go here sometimes a few days a week despite the drive. So sad that they moved. I didn't know they moved because the Google pics didn't get updated. The previous location was great because you can sit at the bar and have a drink while you wait for your food but the new location is more of a ghetto taco shack. The food tastes the same however the queso Birria tacos are not as crunchy as they used to be at the old location. Sucks because I still like the food but probably won't go back to this location anywhere near as much unless I get desperate
