The three of us were the only people in there, which made us a bit nervous but we were so warmly welcomed, we decided to give it a try. The menu was a bit eclectic a mix of standard diner dinner foods (fish and chips, roast beef, etc) and Asian/Indian fusion dishes. The prices were super reasonable and the egg rolls and samosas we had for appetizers were killer. When it came time to order, I listed a few things and just said surprise me but the server/chef I think/owner gave me a really thorough overview of what everything was, because she didn 't want me to order something I wouldn 't like. I don 't love pork, so she said it would be no issue to take it out of the Chop Suey, since everything is made and mixed in house. She came over to make sure we were all enjoying it and had enough and I 'm pretty sure she would 've just brought more if we were still hungry. Everything was delicious and the only thing keeping it from 5 stars was that it was pretty slow, which is fair given she was the only staff and it would 've been a ton of prep work to feed us. Highly recommend it 's like going home to your mom 's for dinner.

We are always looking forward to tea and chats with the owners.
My sister I popped into Frannie's this past Sunday for brunch. I live in Kitchener and she lives in Guelph so we thought lets meet in the middle. Worked out rather well. We do love our Caesars and enjoyed the ones we had the accoutrements that came in them. Best candied bacon we've ever had! We both had the eggs bennie and found it interesting when the waitress asked us how we wanted our eggs done. I asked for Medium and if they could use gluten free bread vs english muffins for mine. Was perfect! Great staff and service!
We enjoyed a late breakfast here after our golf game and were pleasantly surprised. We sat on the patio under a large canopy surrounded by well kept plants and flowers. The place was busy and packed which is a good sign. The service was prompt and the pleasant. The eggs were perfect over easy, the bacon substantial, tasty and crisp; the homefries were delicious and not greasy like some places make them. My friend's Eggs Benedict really looked good to me and he commented on how delicious it was. Everything was great except being out in the country, the flys were a bit bothersome. I bought a small peach pie to eat at home, and although flavourful, the crust was either not baked through or soggy from the fruit. I'll be back. [hidden link]
