Chaves Bakery - Bridgeport

I've never had a bad experience at this restaurant, but I don't visit it as often as the one on King's Highway, which is fantastic. This location offers a greater variety than Madison Avenue and has more space than the King's Highway spot. I received my order fairly quickly. The only negative aspect I noticed is that they need to tidy up the items in the glass display. One disadvantage of glass displays is that we customers can see everything. Every cookie that has fallen out of its dish and all the empty trays with crumbs and leftover frosting are visible. I ordered two black and white cookies, some cannolis, and two cupcakes. Everything was incredibly fresh and nicely packaged. Those black and white cookies are my weakness—“Look to the cookie!”

This bakery is fantastic! Everything here is always incredibly fresh and delicious. The sandwiches are reasonably priced, the staff is friendly, and the bread is excellent! Chaves is a beloved staple for many, and you can find their freshest and tastiest products right at this location.

Why don't your breads have expiration dates? I just visited C Town in Meriden and noticed that there's no expiration information on any of the bread products!

This bakery offers excellent sandwiches and is undoubtedly the best spot around. Their tres leches cake is a must-try and absolutely delicious. They always have fresh coffee on hand, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The restrooms are clean, which is a plus. They also make birthday cakes and have a large selection of pastries. It's the best place in Danbury to satisfy your sweet tooth!
