Fonda Mexicana - Bridgeport

If you like truly authentic Mexican food, you with totally enjoy the Fonda Mexicana. The problem there is what to choose as everything is delicious and fresh. Tacos, Flautas, Burritos with every meat you can think of are part of the menu. Not a big place, and you might be tempted to think is a bad neighborhood, but give the place an change and all that will go away.

This is great Mexican food. The nachos are really good and the Horchata is amazing.

Great food and service. I walked here from St. Vincent's Hospital and got food to go. The salad with fresh grilled chicken was amazing. I also ordered the steak a la Fonda and thought that was delicious as well. Everything is fresh made and it makes the finished product excellent. I will be back for more.

This restaurant offers delicious, authentic Mexican cuisine at a great price. We absolutely love the tacos al pastor, which consist of three tacos filled with pork drenched in a delightful savory-sweet sauce, complemented by a touch of pineapple. Although I believe the tacos should be served with rice and beans given their price, we usually order those as a side when we want them. The staff is consistently friendly, and on weekends, they serve tamales alongside some fantastic homemade pastries. I highly recommend La Fonda Mexicana!

Great Place !!! This is a must place to go to eat if you are really hungover ! I went in there feeling real hungry and with a major headach after drinking so much Saturday night and Sunday morning. I ordered my Tacos Del Apastor. It was delicouse, it was spicy enough to make you forget about the headach, but not spicy enough that you burn yourself. This place is a must !!.
