This was the same manager from my previous visit, who was rude, judgmental, and unwelcoming. The entire incident was unbelievable, and I will be contacting corporate about it. On a positive note, I do want to acknowledge the maintenance man who was friendly, said hello, and engaged in conversation. I was disappointed in the other staff members who seemed indifferent to customer service. The manager’s comment about being "half black" was unnecessary and insensitive; we really didn’t care about his background. He even falsely claimed that multiple customers had complained, when I hadn’t interacted with anyone outside my family. Upon returning from the restroom, my family and I found ourselves surrounded by a group of people, and the whole situation was incredibly awkward. It was embarrassing, especially for my 8-year-old son, who was confused by the whole experience. When the food finally arrived, I informed the manager that we were leaving, and he said we wouldn’t be charged for anything, almost as if they were relieved to see us go. People of color should be aware that the acceptance in this establishment seems to vary depending on the day and the manager present. It’s a shame for Top Golf. We clearly felt unwelcome. We had barely been there for 15 minutes when the staff made us feel uncomfortable enough to leave. While others were drinking and having a good time, the manager caused unnecessary issues. I didn’t even receive a glass of water. He needs further training in customer service and management.
The game itself was enjoyable, and my group had a lot of fun with that part. Unfortunately, our main issue was with the service regarding our food and drink orders. We ordered a few drinks, an entrée each, and an appetizer for the table, but the employee had to return twice to inform us that several items were unavailable. This wasn't a huge issue, so we made alternate choices. However, one of our meals arrived about 25–30 minutes before the appetizer and the other entrées. While not ideal, that was manageable. The real frustration came when my chicken tenders arrived. I only received two, one of which was quite small, and both the tenders and fries were barely warm. I brought this to the employee's attention, and she assured me I wouldn't be charged for it and that a replacement would come out. However, when I received the replacement, we were nearing the end of our two-hour reservation, and I discovered there was trash in my food. Once again, I complained, and the employee mentioned she spoke with a manager and reiterated that I wouldn’t be charged. I may have misunderstood, but when I first complained, I thought I was already told I wouldn’t be charged for the replacement. I never asked for a replacement or...
To start, I wouldn't recommend dining here primarily because, first, the food is merely average, and second, it's overpriced. However, the salsa was quite good! The drinks were decent, and I particularly enjoyed the frozen spiked lemonade—it was my favorite! Overall, I had a pleasant experience and I'm looking forward to returning. However, I plan to come back on a weekday, as the prices on the weekends are outrageous. Additionally, the $5 charge for new members is quite frustrating, especially when you're bringing in a big group of first-time visitors!
Such a cool place. First, just getting an area to hit is a little expensive per person per hour, however it's well worth the cost. The golfing has different modes where you aim for targets (or specific targets) and accumulate points by doing so. We hada lot of fun with both modes. Food was exceptional, and I really liked that their samplers and such catered more towards fingerfoods in creative ways in order to fit properly into the setting. Very clean area and big enough to where you don't feelcrowded. Overall great place and highly recommend checking out even if you're not a golfer!!
It's so much more fun when you're able to participate! Last time I was at Topgolf, I had a broken ankle. I was on crutches couldn't put any weight on my ankle, so I just sat there envying the heat lamps m, food, drinks, and good service. This trip, Iwas able to golf. Much more fun when golfing. The service and food weren't as good this time around, but I'd still recommendtrying it out. An expensive way to spend a few hours, but a lot of fun and worth it on rare occasions. On the down side, therestroom doors are still VERY heavy. I couldn't open them when I was on crutches and I heard a little girl (whose dad wasoutside waiting for her) calling for him to open the door while I was still using the restroom and couldn't help. Not sure howanyone in a wheelchair or any other situation could open it there is no automatic door option even on the main floor.
