27 South Restaurant and Lounge

The food here may be a little on the expensive side but the quality makes up for it. I had potato skins (excellent), steak & all the fixins (cooked to perfection), hubby had fish chowder (teaming with scallops, lobster, mussels, shrimp, salmon) and cedar planked salmon. Their complimentary breakfast for hotel guests was one of the best I ever had, great selection and hot food buffett.

I have eaten here twice and both times I came home sick so never again. Once was at a weeding and once was a work meeting. 2 other people agreed with me from the meeting that the food was gross, they didn't get as sick as I did. I do not understand the good reviews. There are many good restaurants in Bridgewater, some close to the hotel if that is where you are staying. A third person asked me to eat here not long ago and I told them my story and we went elsewhere, they did not have the same experience as I did but I am not willing to give this place another go.

2 years after we were married at this location, which we chose as our venue primarily for the food, 27 South is still setting the bar for top notch service and food quality on the South Shore. As always, everything on the menu looks great, and if you look around you can see that every dish that Chef Tim sends out is made to perfection, so don't overthink your choice too much.We had the Legendary Mustang Burgers and were delighted with the result - a nice thick burger perfectly done with amazing applewood cheese. Highly recommended.The lemon pie martini was excellent, and the peanut butter chocolate fudge brownie cheesecake was as amazing as it sounds.You'll never be disappointed here, especially with the great service, so be sure to check out 27 South if you're local or passing through the South Shore.

Very clean restaurant with great service. There is a large selection on the menu and the prices are very reasonable. Portions are large so go hungry! Staff are so friendly and provide excellent service. A great place to eat if in the area and especially if staying at the hotel.

I love the food here and it is obviously very convenient when staying in the hotel not to have to go out looking for a restaurant. I had the pot roast this time and my husband had the Black Angus strip loin....cooked rare, just how he likes it! Leave room for dessert...because the lemon pie martini is the best!
