How hotel meets. The rooms are small, do not have air conditioning, but those with a window have a great view of the lake, unbeatable. Apart from everything, the Rothorn Train station is a few meters away. As a restaurant it has a limited menu, the seasoning is not the best, but the terrace set up for diners, due to the view and the proximity of the Rothorn, gives it a lot of life. Had lunch in this place on a raining day. Food was ok, nothing special but service was awful. A waiter said something I didn’t hear clearly so I asked him to repeat and he went super slow and loud even next table was looking at him surprised. Very unprofessional behavior

Today we have been there for lunch. We are vegans and it was really good. I was not expecting food like this over here. We recommend this restaurant

My sister and I stayed at Studio Rothorn. The room is obviously newly renovated and very nice, as is the bathroom. Unfortunately, sleeping with the window open is practically impossible because the main road runs right in front of the building. Air conditioning might be required here so that the room could be cooled down a bit. We booked the room with breakfast. We have never experienced such unfriendly service. The young lady (brown hair, ponytail) who was responsible for the service didn 't say a word to my friendly 'good morning ', and she also responded to my thanks for revealing it with my word. My sister ordered coffee from her, but it wasn 't 'delivered '. She wasn 't told that you have to get it yourself and get it from the machine yourself. Regarding the unfriendliness of the staff, we have now found various corresponding reviews and also the management 's comment that these allegations are taken very seriously. However, as we have experienced first-hand, nothing seems to be happening other than lip service. Fortunately, there are other accommodations in Brienz. Unfortunately, we can only give 1 star here, even though we were actually happy with the room, apart from the street noise.

Excellent cuisine, very friendly staff and a great terrace in an excellent location.
