There are a ton of cafes in the Villingen centre, but not too many actual restaurants. We had wandered around for a while and settled on Gasthaus zum Lowen....
Very great restaurant. The food was very good. I had the lobster soup that was a poem. Vegetarian options: I had the Tortelini with Heidelbeer goat fresh cheese Sosse. Very recommended. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Good honest kitchen with perfect sauces. The pumpkin gnocchi I found very tasty, with an excellently prepared deer back. So good cuisine is fun and the food becomes an experience.
