The shake machine was broken during my visit, and it’s frustrating to hear that excuse repeatedly! It’s not just Burger King; the McDonald's across the street does this as well. I work swing shifts, so I often go to these drive-thrus later than most, and more often than not, I’m unable to get a shake because of a broken machine. After hearing this excuse so often, it makes me think back to my time in the food industry, and I wonder if the employees just don’t want to clean the shake machine that late at night instead of actually serving customers. It may be convenient for them, but it certainly doesn’t benefit the business or the customers.
