Golden Sea - Brighouse

Found this place last november, as there are no Chinese restaurants in halifax and was not disappointed as we again many paints as eating and friendly service is excellent.

Wonderful service. The woman serving us was incredibly polite and accommodating to my slightly awkward order. She kept making sure we were comfortable, even down to checking the music wasn't too loud. The food was amazing. I really enjoyed the salt and pepper chicken, vermicelli and hong kong duck. The prices were incredibly reasonable especially considering portion size. We will certainly go again.

The food here is excellent and very flavorful; I highly recommend the pak far rolls! Dining during the week is a great experience. The host is charming and performs her duties very well. However, there’s only one host, which can make dining a bit awkward, especially during busy times. It sometimes feels like they aren't fully committed to running a restaurant. If they hired additional staff, updated the decor, and expanded the bar area, I believe they could really thrive. The quality of the food and service standards are definitely in place. As it stands, I would give it a solid 4 stars.

We had an outstanding experience at this restaurant, thanks to the exceptional service and incredible value for money. My partner and I were visiting Brighouse for dinner, and Juni, our server, was simply wonderful. She was not only beautiful but also incredibly attentive, making sure we were well taken care of. The only downside for us is that we live too far away to return easily.
