Delicious teriyaki flavours, combined with roasted seasonal veg (carrot, eggplant, and pumpkin for winter), fresh ginger, rice, and salad greens. All ingredients were fresh and well cooked. The ratio of all components of the dish is something to note too they didn’t overload the bowl with salad greens or rice, which is nice.
We ate here twice during our stay in Bright because options for dining in the evening (somewhere with vegan choices) was a little limited. It is a nice, friendly take away that serves a few vegan choices, all clearly marked on the menu. We loved the spring rolls and tried the two vegan tofu dishes on offer. Both were tasty but not quite what we'd expected from the description. Also tried the sticky eggplant which was a vegan side dish but again wasn't what we thought given it was in a liquid sauce and didn't appear to be sticky at all! At lunch they also serve sushi, with two vegan options, but we didn't get to try those. Sorry we didn't take any pictures as it is all take away they didn't look very impressive by the time we got them back to our airbnb!
We enjoyed the vegan gyoza, teriyaki eggplant and agadashi tofu. Currently only doing takeaway using eco friendly packaging. Friendly prompt service.
We spent 4 nights in Bright in May and had dinner here 3 of those nights. No complaints with anything we ordered. The Mapo Tofu Don was our favourite. The seaweed salad was delicious, although eating a whole serve to yourself it loses its charm. A great sharing dish.
Had the sushi rolls on display out front and was disappointed that they had dried out. There was only a few left so I would say it was the last ones for the day and sitting there for a few hours.
