I have attained heaven. The crust thickness was beautiful. 1.mm of the fluffiest, flaky and crispy crust all around. The golden ratio. For every 1 cubic centimetre of gravy, there were THREE cubic centimetres of juicy, tender and mouth in your mouth goodness pieces of meat. This absolute behemoth of a pie is wrapped in a tin foil shell. Eating this has made me a sigma male It is a violation against society that the pie is this good. It has changed my perspective on life, knowing that every pie that I eat from now will be worthless. *Iamb and mint jelly pie

Stopped in and got 2 beef and mushroom pies for eat in. Both pies came out immediately and were filled with big chunks of perfectly cooked steak and mushrooms. The pie crust was nice and crispy unlike a lot of soggy pies and didn’t look like dog food filled with mince. This pie did not need sauce at all. Will go back

UPDATE: A year later and still a great country pie shop! So glad they've reopened after shutting for COVID this week so I could try the green curry chicken pie. A very mild use of curry paste, so I wouldn't say it's filled with curry like some other reviews, but a nice twist on a traditional chicken and veg pie. Got the chicken and mushroom pie. It has a super flaky dark pastry and saucy filling. Great country pie shop.
