Taste Of Sahara - Brighton

Had a great first experience and that was my second visit. Sadly did not live until the first visit. Starters needed a long time to arrive, the main course was overcooked and bill overrated.

A friend recommended this restaurant to me, and I must say, it's a hidden gem. The food is delicious and the prices are very reasonable.

We started off with a delicious Meze banquet that was perfect for sharing, as the portions were quite generous. For our main course, we tried the Tadschin Chicken and Kebab selection, which was both flavorful and plentiful. Bringing our own drinks was convenient, as there is a store right next door. The staff was friendly, and the service and food were both excellent. I highly recommend trying the taste of the Sahara dish.

I absolutely loved my dining experience at Sahara in Brighton so much that I am planning to visit Brighton again this year just to go back to this restaurant! The Moroccan cuisine was fantastic - deliciously flavorful and spicy without being too hot. The Mezi appetizer for two was so generous that we were already full, but the main courses (Lamb Tagine, Mixed Shish Grill, Lamb Chops) were so delicious that we couldn't resist eating them as well. The restaurant has two dining rooms, with one at the rear that has two round tables that can be curtained off for privacy, and an enclosed patio at the back. There is only one female restroom available. The policy of BYOB with no corkage fee is also a bonus. The manager was very helpful and charming. I highly recommend Sahara to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

I visited Sahara in Brighton with 4 friends last Friday night. I can honestly say that this was one of the best meals and most professional and attentive service that I have ever had. From the moment we arrived to the time that we left the owner and his staff were so charming. We ate from a set menu which was superb and excellent value and we were seated in a private and very comfortable booth. It was so good that we stayed for almost 4 hours! I would highly recommend this restauarant.
