The Black Horse - Brighton

I had the bark cake, and it was excellent! It came with chips, some carrots, and Brussels sprouts. I also got tired of sticky toffee pudding, which was delicious! My brother-in-law ordered the broken chicken cake and the apple dessert, both of which were fantastic. I enjoyed a gin drink made by the excellent bartender, Simon. Every staff member who visited our table to take orders, serve dishes, or clear the table was incredibly friendly and attentive. Wow! I've never experienced such great service before. The atmosphere was quite cozy with festive decorations. I can't wait to visit again!

It's just a short bus ride or drive to Rottingdean, where you'll find The Black Horse located on the high street. Rottingdean is charmingly picturesque, and The Black Horse is a traditional pub that serves real ale and classic pub food, all made with a nod to old-fashioned methods. Visiting Rottingdean on a Sunday has become a family tradition for us.

Nice local pub with a charming old vibe. It’s comfortable and affordable. The bartender was very friendly. However, I had to take away a star because the locks on the restroom doors were broken.

Seems to be popular with locals as well as visitors. Ideal for pre gig drinks as literally over the road from the Brighton Dome. Cheap drinks as well!
