I visited the restaurant for Sunday dinner, and unfortunately, it was extremely crowded, which resulted in very slow service. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing as well. I've dined here before, but today was a different experience. I ordered chicken and dressing, and the chicken was overcooked while the dressing lacked any flavor—it felt as though it hadn't been cooked properly. I also had collard greens that were not only tasteless but also tough, and there were even bones in the dressing. I opted for takeout.

This is a fantastic spot for a hearty country-style meal! It's a family-owned establishment that welcomes families. They offer a cafeteria-style "meat and three" selection. The homemade desserts are wonderful! Although the line was long, it moved at a good pace. I enjoyed the tender pork chops, candied yams, and cabbage, followed by peach cobbler and white chocolate bread pudding for dessert.
