El Pollote Mexican - Brighton

Chicken was reheated/microwaved unfortunately. Went with the 1/4 chicken plate. Ordered dine in and my meal came inside of styrofoam, not a fan of ingesting that stuff or the waste. Beans and rice was good, chewy reheated chicken ruined it though seasoning was nice. Bet it was amazing fresh.

I was a bit unsure before entering this restaurant. I checked the menu beforehand to see if there were options for me since I don't eat red meat or pork. When I got to the counter, I asked if their green chili contained pork, and the cashier said no, which excited me because many Mexican restaurants don't have vegetarian green chili. I decided to order the chicken enchiladas meal, which came with three chicken and cheese enchiladas, rice and beans on the side, and a horchata.Unfortunately, the chicken was dry and greasy, lacking flavor. The tortillas seemed undercooked and dry, while the beans were quite soupy and the rice was also dry. The saving grace of the meal was the cheese and green chili, which were the best parts. The horchata was also enjoyable.To be honest, I don't think I'll return unless it's just for a cup of green chili and some horchata. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian green chili

Very bad flavored chicken .Normally the grill chicken plate comes with Charro beans , and I got refried beans weird Restaurant . The person was very friendly.

Chicken was out of this world! They are super nice, I would go again!

The food was excellent . Nice service. The chicken was excellent ! I would love to try more on the menu because everything was fresh and delicious. I ordered enchiladas and churros.
