Aberdeen Steak House

The food and service were average, but I received a complimentary shot in exchange for a positive review. So I suppose it was good!

This restaurant is easily forgettable! The decor is cheap, and the atmosphere is cold and unwelcoming. The server was overly talkative and pushy, constantly trying to hustle for business. The mussels for the starter were the worst I've ever had - small and tasteless. Despite all the hype about the meat supplier, the Scottish steak was tough and flavorless, resembling canteen food. The fries were mediocre at best, likely coming from a frozen bag. I can't even remember what else came with the steak. Overall, unless you have very low standards for food quality, I would not recommend this place. And to make matters worse, it was not even cheap.

During our weekend stay in Brighton, my husband and I decided to explore the city for a place to eat on Friday. That's when we stumbled upon Aberdeen Steak House. It turned out to be a fantastic find - the food was exceptional and the service was top-notch. It's a charming family-run restaurant that we highly recommend.

Didn’t make a booking but thankfully they had space for me and my partner, had an amazing meal, very friendly staff attentive and very attentive would definitely recommend and return 5 star

Family meal of five. Had groupon voucher pre booked. When we arrived told they don’t take groupon vouchers any more!! When we stated that they are still on sale and showed app waitress went and got manager. He said yes they do take them but not on weekends. As it was a Monday no problem. Ordered 4 burgers(vouchers) and one carbonara . Burgers arrived waiter said pasta dish was just coming. After 10 mins I Asked waiter over and asked what was going on had they forgotten meal? He said cooker was going slow and would be served soon. When everyone had finished their meal I said to cancel pasta. He bought it over a few minutes later and said it was free so I might as well eat it. The manager was aware of the problem but never came over or apologised. He was not busy and I felt it was very poor Staff were nice but their English was very limited so ordering asking for extra drinks , sauces etc was complicated as there was not a lot of understanding!!! Wouldn’t go again wouldn’t recommend
