Ground Coffee Houses

I visited Ground for the fourth or fifth time in the past year last week, and as usual, the coffee was excellent. The Americanos and lattes were top-notch. I tried a vegan cake from the counter top this time and found it to be interesting. I would give a 5/5 rating for the drinks and food. However, the service at Ground was consistently unwelcoming and miserable. Due to this, I have decided to go next door to the Open Bakery from now on. In the Kemp town/Hanover area, we usually encounter friendly staff at pubs and cafes who engage in small talk and start conversations. In contrast, the staff at Ground seemed overly serious and uninterested in customers, which was a bit off-putting for those of us over the age of 30 who aren't as impressed by coffee. While I understand that the staff at Ground are not there to befriend customers like me, a simple smile could have made me consider returning. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to Ground. My rating for Ground is 3/5.

This is quickly becoming my favourite place for coffees and a tasty vegan sandwich in Kemp town. The staff are super friendly and are very accommodating always helping me avoid my allergies. The vegan sandwiches are super tasty (and inventive never just boring carrot and hummus! and the coffees are out of this world. I would not hesitate in recommending this coffee shop. I worked at the next door Pizza shop . So i used to have a coffe every single day at ground coffe in the four years I lived in brighton, for me it was the best and the perfect service

Xmas Eve. If staff not happy working today then maybe stay shut, surly staff not in the Xmas spirit.

We went there last with my friends.. It wasn’t really good I don’t think l would be back there
