Feedback gevenUpon arrival, we were asked about any allergies. My wife mentioned her allergy to cinnamon, and the staff made sure it was safe for her to dine there. We appreciated the level of concern shown. The food was exceptional. We started with Nutbourne tomatoes and cucumber with a Saddlescombe lamb meatball, followed by Trenchmore beef with red pepper and charred padron peppers for the main course. For dessert, we enjoyed Isaac@'s version of scones with strawberries and cream. Each dish was beautifully presented and flavorful, with delicate sauces and foraged ingredients adding to the experience. Each course was paired with a locally sourced wine, and the staff provided detailed information about the food and drinks. They were courteous and knowledgeable throughout the evening. We would like to thank Isaac@ for the wonderful culinary experiences we have had and wish them all the best for the future.
We tried the tasting menu during lunch on Saturday and it was absolutely fantastic. The service was top-notch with very friendly staff. Our favorite dish was the Plaice with Seaweed Hollandaise and Dill, it was truly sensational. It was our first time dining at Issac and we are disappointed to hear that it is closing. Having dined at several Michelin-starred restaurants in the past, we can confidently say that the tasting menu here was among the best we've ever had.
