The restaurant currently features a vegan kitchen called Tofu Social Club, which serves delicious burgers. It would be helpful if they labeled their dishes more clearly as some look similar. The chips were large, beautiful, and tasty. We also tried the cookie dough with jam ice cream, which had a beautiful cookie dough but the ice cream was a bit too orange for my liking (which is to be expected since it's made with jam, not oranges).
The restaurant offers a wide selection of beer and has a cozy atmosphere reminiscent of a cottage in the forest. The bar staff was very friendly and provided great service. The only drawback was that while the burgers were tasty and came in a variety of flavors with interesting names, they were not exceptional. The meat quality was somewhat disappointing. Overall, it's a solid spot for grabbing a drink and a decent meal. I would definitely return. If I could, I would give it 4.5 stars.
The staff at this restaurant are fantastic and friendly, the selection of beer and spirits is delicious, and the interior is really beautiful. We attended the pub quiz on Monday from 8:30 to around 11, where quiz participants receive a big discount on drinks. The staff really make this place special. I highly recommend it! It's not far from Churchill Square.
More amazing place, not to say, my and my best friend favorite place to go a drink in Brighton/Hove. we've been up in november last year and since then we've been going every time we meet. nice quiet location to have a beer and not only because the food is very good.
Rough brick decor with murals painted on the walls gives this place an artistic yet cozy feel. Plenty of seating, with a retro table top arcade to fiddle around with. The highlight of this place though is the extraordinary price for a fantastic meal! £12 for slow cooked brisket with potato gems and cornbread?! Perfectly hearty portion sizes too! An unexpected treat on the streets of Brighton and Hove. Could not recommend enough!
