The soup base was incredibly flavorful and the pork slices were delicious. I particularly enjoyed the Ramen egg, and recommend adding an extra one because it is so tasty. However, the portion size was smaller than what I have experienced at other Japanese ramen restaurants. Despite this, I will definitely be returning to try more of their ramen options in the future!
I recently visited this restaurant and tried the Vegan Classic Ramen. Today, I came back to try the Vegan Fire Ramen and I must say, I am now addicted to Ramen. The taste was amazing. One tip for others is to arrive around 11:45am on Fridays to avoid the long queues as the restaurant gets very crowded. Enjoy your meal!
Came here for dinner just a minute after they had opened for their dinner service. The seats filled up quickly and food came out very fast! <br/ <br/ I ordered the infamous tonkotsu ramen. The ramen broth had the right balance, flavourful and creamy accompanied with succulent meat and a perfect soft-boiled egg, this dish really took me back to Japan.
I've been here multiple times upon the recommendation of a friend and it grows on me everytime. High heat ramen is definitely my favourite and the kakuniku is so soft and tender. Prefect for the winter months.
Another bowl down, another name to check off my list. I genuinely enjoyed my experience at Taro’s Ramen (Queen Street). I had never been before so I didn’t really know what to expect.<br/ <br/ Finding the restaurant was my first hurdle, I had no idea where to go until I saw the massive sign indicating the direction.<br/ <br/ The inside of the restaurant was quite moody and cool, lots of little nooks were carved into the wall and the lighting was quite dark. I ended up sitting outside, but struggled to find a clean table.<br/ <br/ I ordered the Tonkotsu ramen and it was really good. I now understand the huge amount of hype around the Taro’s brand. The broth was really thick and tasty, it was so rich it arrived with a sort of ‘skin’ on top of the broth. The noodles were thick and plentiful. But the real stars of the show were the pork and the egg. The pork was so thick and as shown in the picture massive.<br/ <br/ It is my honest and genuine belief that Taro’s night do the best ramen egg in Brisbane. The inside was perfectly cooked, it wasn’t too runny, nor too hard. It was like a jelly texture delicious !!!!<br/ <br/ I will definitely be coming back to Taro’s ramen as the food is exceptional. On a financial note, the prices are a bit more expensive and the bowls are a bit smaller compared to other ramen shops around Brisbane. Despite this, I will happily return. Enjoy
