Huong's Vietnamese And Chinese

The entrance to Huong's is the least appealing part of this restaurant. However, I was quickly brought cold water and a menu just a minute after being seated. My Pad Puk arrived only eight minutes after I placed my order. The food was flavorful, and the portion size was generous enough to satisfy a hungry diner. The decor has a nostalgic vibe reminiscent of older Jackie Chan movies, but the attentive service makes up for any shortcomings in ambiance. I will definitely be coming back.

What stood out most to me was the service. The staff was attentive; I had chilled water on my table within seconds of sitting down, and the food was prepared quickly. I ordered the Thai Curry Puffs ($9.50) and the Sweet Sour Pork with Special Fried Rice lunch special ($9.50). The curry puffs arrived in just five minutes, and the sweet sour pork followed shortly after. The curry puffs had a light and flaky exterior, but the filling was a rich mix of chicken and curry paste cooked down to a purée-like consistency. The filling was somewhat heavy for the delicate outer layer, which made the puffs a bit unstable. However, they were delicious and served piping hot. I would rate them a 3.5. The Sweet Sour Pork was a bit tough and chewy, but it had decent flavor, so I’d give it a 3. The special fried rice was rather underwhelming and rated 2.5. Considering just the food, I would rank Huong's a 3, but the excellent service and good value elevate it to a 3.5. I would definitely be open to returning for another visit.

The menu is extensive and a bit confusing, but that just means there are plenty of dishes worth returning for!

My family and I love Huongs. So much so that we now have a good relationship with the owner. Consistently good food. My favorite is the San Choy bow. I like ve the banquet. Pad Thai is delicious and spicy calamari is absolutely delicious. Yum, yum, yum.

Amazing food! The sizzling Peking duck was out of this world! Very quick service and Henry the owner was extremely friendly and made sure we had a great night. Will defiantly be back!
