Carl's Wine And Bistro - Brisbane

I especially enjoyed the wine and food pairing menu at this restaurant. It was perfect! The smoke Mackerel rillette with cucumber sorbet was very delicious. It looked lovely and I couldn't resist digging in before taking any pictures. Overall, it was a very enjoyable evening.

Probably our favourite date night restaurant. It's quaint and cozy. Food's amazing too. If you're lucky enough to get rose before it runs out, do so!!!!!

My partner and I went to this restaurant for dinner on a Friday night before the recent renovations. We ordered the olive oil and dukkah, sirloin, and the special pasta dish of the evening. The sirloin was a bit overcooked for our taste, but still generous. The pasta dish was simple yet perfectly cooked al dente. We enjoyed the Gerler wines. The ambiance was casual with low lighting and an intimate atmosphere due to limited seating. Prices were reasonable and the service was friendly. Overall, we found the concept to be lovely and are curious to return after the renovations to try the chef's surprise courses.

We had a wonderful experience at Carl's wine bar. The waitress Nikki was lovely, very knowledgeable and a great hostess. She paired our wines fabulously with our food. The food was lovely. Best I've experienced in Brisbane so far. Matt is a talented chef. We were the last ones in there and they didn't rush us out. The chef Matt and Nikki came and sat with us for a chat at the end of the night and treated us to a few tastings of wine, chocolate mouse and some other delicious new dishes Matt had been working on. It was like being at a good friends house. Such a lovely night. Thank you
