Service was fantastic, waiters were well informed about what we wanted and also fun talking, very family-friendly environment and food was OMG delicious, and more than enough. It was certainly a place to have a meal when I did. Brisbane

I have known this local Irish pub in the heart of Brisbane for over a decade and have always appreciated its charms and efforts to bring a touch of Ireland to Brisbane. I recently found myself an Irish partner and chose Gilhooleys as the place to meet and then years later to ask for her hand in marriage. All of the staff know me well from Friday pub lunches where I have developed quite a taste for their pints of Kilkenny. So when I asked for help planning my day, they didn't hesitate and made our day incredibly special and memorable. I want to send a huge shout out to all the staff at Gilhooleys for helping to create one of the very best days of our whole lives and I look forward to sharing many more Friday pub lunches and special occasions there... Couldn't recommend it highly enough!

It was actually really quite lovely. The venue did seem fairly empty BUT the dance floor with the live band did put a smile on everyones face. Just a good pub. Though they didn't seem to do cocktails, but that's neither here or there. Good for a quick drink or settle in for a bit of fun. Not a bad boozer.

Just love this Pub, great Irish vibe in the heart of Brisbane's CBD, best priced beer in town.
