Morrison Hotel - Brisbane

This place is another classic, on par with the " Brecky Creek " and " Norman " I thinks it's been here longer than me .

The steaks at this place are delicious!! only downside is the restaurant sort of looks run down and out of service at one end where the pool table is

Been here many times, always fantastic. Have the 360 g eye fillet in bacon extra mushroom sauce ceaser salad with chips. Best steak i have had not just in brisbane. Large meals and cold drinks. Relaxed place inside and out. So much better than the yuppie places at eagle st pier for example chachacha steaks

Went for Saturday lunch, party of 6. 2 entrees, one was the garlic bread served in style of a pizza which tasted great. 5 out of 6 ordered steak and all enjoyed our meals. The medium rare eye fillet was beautifully pink and tender. The variety of sauces to choose from had a few more than your standard selection and a decent amount served with the meal, mushroom and truffle butter was full of flavour. Variety of salads also good although Cesar salad was drowned in dressing. 6th meal was a large parmigiana served with some very tasty sweet potato wedges. Service was very attentive and meals were served quickly. Throw in 2 bottles of wine, bill came in just in $50 a head which we thought was great value.
