Moti Mahal - Brisbane

Real and authentic curry. No advertising by the owner but their food is awesome. I ordered butter chicken and was best in Brissie.

We have a routine of having an 'Indian' curry on most Fridays, although most in the UK are actually Bangladeshi! However, we have been hunting high n low- A-ha!! on the Northside for an authentic curry, so far we have had tried some poor attempts and some passable ones, but this is the best so far! Its the most authentic, having had many meals cooked by our Indian friends! We cannot stand the 'Australia' type Indian curries, we reckon some dodgy so called 'chef' set the taste 20 years ago, as they were bad then and that taste has carried since! We order the same dishes in each restaurant to test them, and here they were all lovely, we would actually give them 4.5! but u can't give half points! If any readers out there feel the same way then please let us know your recommendation? Cheers

Excellent curry and naans. Best on the Northside without a doubt. Had the chicken jalfrezi and it was delicious. Reminds me of curries in the curry houses of Manchester UK.
