The variety of food available here was quite good for those of us with food intolerances who are used to very limited choices - usually salad or fruit! My friend and I opted for the soup of the day with Paleo bread for lunch and it was very yummy. There was a great line up of dessert options as well, but we couldn't fit any in - well, maybe next time! The prices were all quite reasonable as well, and the staff were working busily to prepare and deliver orders to full tables. We didn't notice the wait - couldn't be too long - but we did notice all the yummy plates being produced from the kitchen. It was a bit noisy, but the combination of a polished concrete floor and lots of people would mean that the noise was reverberating around the cafe rather than being absorbed by soft furnishings. This was a bit of a turn off at first, but the food and good company overcame any inconveniences. Maybe the exit of some nearby noisy youngsters also helped! Will certainly return here.
Whether or not you are ofay with the Paleo Lifestyle you will enjoy the delicious offerings on the Paleo Cafe's menu. If you want to find out more about the food choices being championed by Chef Pete Evens this would be a great place to start. Try the salted caramel smoothie and the open Lamb Burger. Whilst you are there you can read up on the Paleo philosophy and perhaps commence your own healthy eating future. The service is swift, the staff friendly and decor delightfully envigorating.
This is one of my favourite places to visit. The food is exceptional , the service is great and the staff are really friendly and enjoy their job. Also if you are lucky Mr Paleo Desserts with have some Amazing Paleo cakes available. They will rock your world.
Had an early morning Saturday breakfast, in fact we were the first to arrive and order. I was disappointed that it then took 40mins for our food to come out of the kitchen. I would hate to think how long it would take if busy. My banana pancakes were good, my wife's mushrooms and poached eggs where a different story. The eggs where overcooked and the mushrooms quite tasteless. In saying that the green juices we ordered where sensational and the staff working front of house where friendly and cheerful.I think next time we want a paleo meal we will head over to the Primal Pantry at Teneriffe who definitely have much nicer food coming out of the kitchen
