Parking is around the back.Greeted by friendly staff.Great atmosphere - tables not too close together.Service fabulous.Food even better - very yummy - we could have stayed longer but our tummies weren't big enough!!Reasonably priced.We will be back!

This is our favourite Mexican eat place in Brisbane. Always friendly and attentive staff with great food every visit. Can never finish the meals due to really generous portions Ole!

My partner and I scored a great voucher for some money towards a meal at Pepe's at Newmarket, so we booked in a weekend lunch to enjoy it. We ordered jalapeño poppers, a chimichanga each and a bucket of coronas. The jalapeño poppers have a good kick of chilli without being unbearably hot, plenty of flavour. I ordered the chicken chimichanga, which is kind of like a fried burrito, full of chicken topped with a tomato based sauce and cheese, served with rice, beans and salad. The flavours are well balanced and it was all delicious. The portions are generous, we definitely didn't walk away hungry!I have no complaints about Pepe's. I've eaten there a number of times, for breakfast, lunch and dinner - and I have every intention of going back again!

If ever there was a time to celebrate tantalising your Mexican taste buds with fresh produce, in a fun atmosphere, with fantastic service, Pepe's Mexican Restaurant in Newmarket ticks all those boxes ... and more.Pepe's is nothing like any other Mexican restaurant we've dined in, here in Australia. There's a unique crispness to the food that tells your mouth what you're eating is fresh and it's all genuinely tasty. Don’t leave before desert either … those chocolate Nachos are to die for.All pallets are cared for with menu offerings from no heat at all, to many a spicy treat for the well healed chilli food lover. There's a truly magnificent range of Tequila on offer too, from the very cool rustic timber bar, just for those who like to Lip Sip Suck their way to a Margarita.The wait staff are friendly and attentive, and the chefs are talented. Be warned though ... this is a popular restaurant and we've never been to Pepe's and seen an empty table, so bookings are a must and yes, they are just always busy, so expect there will be a little wait ... but it's worth it.

Quite a busy restaurant so best to make a booking. they have great vegetarian and vegan options. it's a bit more on the pricey side though as they charge more for guacamole, sour cream, jalapeños and hot sauce. I'm not a fan of having to pay more for guacamole when you're ordering a vegetarian meal especially when the meat options are the same price. but the food is tasty so it's worth a try.
