A nice, quiet, sort of hole-in-the-wall place away from the busier city eats. Combination broken rice hit the spot!
Food came quickly, lovely taste clean and tidy restaurant.<br/ <br/ Price within with budget lots of selection.<br/ Good location.<br/ Highly recommend.<br/ <br/ We will be back :
It's a brilliant Vietnamese dinner!<br/ <br/ I was trying to find a Vietnamese restaurant at a weekday night in Brisbane CBD. I often go to Roll'd for a meal, but it closes early like before 5pm. It is kind of usual in Brisbane though, I'm eager to have a rice noodle soup for dinner.<br/ <br/ I found this restaurant in the corner of Queen Street Mall, and it stays late! I had a slightly raw beef rice noodle soup with a cup of coconut juice, it's like $15.90. The rice noodle soup was in an appropriate amount, and both the coconut juice and the soup noodles were really nice (the juice's bit sweet though). THE MOST IMPORTANT point is there is not much people know the place, so the place is kind of empty and the delivery speed is quite fast. Great place to go with friends or even alone!<br/ <br/ It probably will be one of the regular restaurants I will go to in Brisbane CBD. They serve free hot tea (which is rare in Brisbane) and some chilli pickles.
Do not listen to the negative reviews about this restaurant. Maybe the people leaving them don't understand Vietnamese food cooked the local way? The owner previously had a restaurant at Inala Civic Centre and his Pho is as good as Tan Tanh's. This is the city Viet restaurant Vietnamese ppl eat at.
