They have now relocated to Post Office Square, where they are thriving with their affordable Malay roti and South Indian curries. While some of the more upscale menu items are no longer available, I suggest they consider bringing back some of their delicious curries. However, their roti remains unmatched in Brisbane. The move to the city has likely overshadowed any previous reviews of this restaurant.
I visit Brisbane for Business. This Is my Favourite place to have lunch!!There are a lot of other places to choose from In the Emporium complex. But this Is by far the best place to eat! Ate here again on Friday with a colleague, fantastic as usual. We couldn't wait to get there!!!! Keep It simple order the chicken curry,mild/med or hot I like it hot!Add a serve of rice and make sure you have the roti with it, best you will ever eat!!!Love this place wish i could eat here every week!!!!The service Is fast and friendly. Amazing food amazing value!I want it again now lol....
This was at least our fourth visit to Roti Chenai since it opened. We usually dine in but this time we were in the area and it was quite early, so we decided to get take away. My partner ordered the roti and I chose the lamb curry this time. Both were delicious, as always, and my only regret is that we didn't order more! We live across the river, so don't get there often, but if we did we'd make it our regular as the food is consistently excellent.
Please note that this is not a traditional restaurant dining experience. However, those seeking a Malaysian cafe experience will enjoy the consistently delicious rotis and dosas. The curries are perfectly balanced in terms of spiciness, saltiness, and sourness, making them a perfect match for the rotis or dosas. For those looking for authentic Malaysian Roti Canai, this is the place to visit.
We tried Roti Chennai for some Indian food and liked the place - the menu is not very widespread, but the food is quite good and is offered in very good portions - it would be good to add a few more starters thoughWe tried the beef dosa, seafood suka, briyani and butter chicken and found the portions very sumptuous. Good food and service, will go again!(P.S butter chicken is lovely and a must have!)
