Fantastic lunch curry and drink or nan bread for $10. I had the Madras curry lamb which had been deliciously slow cooked
Went to have dinner in George Square and we were craving Indian cuisine so we sat in their outdoor patio. It is a fusion place so you can get Chinese food too but we stuck to Indian plates. We ordered vegetarian and we were satisfied with their amount of choices for vegetarian plates. We had a vegetarian platter that had samosas, fritters and sauces. Next our palak paneer with an order of roti and garlic naan arrived. It was tasty and the prices are reasonable for the area. The only problem was the waitress was not able to handle our bill adequately.
Brisbane Square has had a recent re-vamp of shops and restaurants. One of the new restaurants is named Spicy Affair (there is a same named restaurant in Belbowrie, I do not know if they are the same company). The food is Asian Indian; we chose the Indian for lunch; Vegetable Samosa mixed entree for two and for the main Rohan Josh which was big enough for two as well. All in all very tasty. Staff were very attentive without being intrusive. A very enjoyable lunch!
We were really in the mood for some Indian food so we're lucky to find Spicy Affair. The food was very authentic and flavoursome and the service friendly and efficient. Couldn't fault anything!
