We spent about 2-3 hours exploring the animals and watching two shows. The ice cream and coffee from the cafe were superb. We highly recommend bringing kids along for a visit. The pricing and access to the facility may not be the best, but they are still acceptable.
We had a wonderful time at this restaurant, it was a truly memorable experience. It is definitely a koala sanctuary worth supporting. The lines for photos with the animals can be long, so it's best to book online to avoid delays. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The sanctuary has cafes and toilets throughout, with birds and lizards freely roaming around - so be careful where you step. We also booked the Mirimar cruise from the sanctuary, which we found to be the best way to get there. It was a great way to enjoy the journey while learning about the history of the river.
We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant that is great for the whole family. We were able to interact with animals, watch live feedings, and explore fantastic enclosures. We highly recommend this place to anyone in the area as there is plenty to do and see, including the amazing wildlife. We will definitely be returning in the future.
Great experience! They have all of the well-known Australian animals as well as some less known animals. You can hold a koala for an extra fee and they have a sheep dog show, a birds of prey show and some others. We'll worth your time!
Great day out with an almost 3 year old. She loved feeding the kangaroos and wallabies and spotting some joeys. There were so many koalas throughout Lone Pine. We loved watching them in the Cafe area while we had lunch as many were awake moving around.
